Hey, I have something positive to say today. I just finished the archives down at Penny and Aggie and it’s well worth a look. Funny, well-written and well-drawn — everything a comic should be. Except without evil toasters. Try not to draw too many parallels between the titular characters and Charlotte and Amy, it’s pure coincidence. In the original design Amy was going to be a red-head and I didn’t know Penny and Aggie existed until a couple of days ago. Incidentally, I discovered them through the WCCA’s.
By the way, guys, I’ve got some good news and some bad news. Bad news is I’m moving house this week so that’s just one of those things that has to take priority over the comic, I’m afraid. Good news is I’m getting a laptop in a few days’ time so once I get settled in the new place I’ll be able to work even more on the comic than ever before. Thanks for understanding.
And hey, it was Life on the Fourth Floor’s birthday three days ago. That one kind of escaped my notice. I know it doesn’t really count considering I spent so much time AWOL but it’s noteworthy at the very least. It will be worth celebrating the 50th comic, though, which is coming up (perhaps in 2008).
Ooh — I almost forgot. The entire cast now have e-mail addresses, just for giggles. If you have any questions you’d like to put to any principal cast member, I’m sure they’ll be happy to hear from you and quick to respond.
