Awesome news — there is a new comic up! An epic unto itself. So, yeah, it’s been nearly a month since the last update but I’ve been moving house and you know the problems I’ve been having with that. This one actually only took me a week to finish, which is pretty quick considering how detailed it is. Whilst there’s going to be nothing like a month-long gap before the next strip is up, I need to make you guys aware of a few things:

  1. It’s time for Leeds Festival again and I’m setting off tomorrow morning, coming back on Monday.
  2. I’m going on holiday to Cyprus on 2nd September, for about a week and a half.
  3. I’m going to University on September 16th, and I need to have got through the reading list by then.

All these things mean less time to work on the comic. I’m dreadfully sorry but that’s just the way the chips have fallen. Of course, more work is going to be done on the strip behind the scenes but in terms of working on and updating the next comic, I don’t know how I’m going to be fixed. And once I get to uni I’m going to need time to get used to my new lifestyle and find my work/life balance. That’s the thing about doing a comic that you can’t just knock out in one day — in the years to come, as my lifestyle changes, so will the frequency with which I update. Right now I’m in a transition period from one lifestyle to the next so updates are going to be at an all-time low. But I’m not going anywhere and neither is Life on the Fourth Floor. Work on the next comic starts Monday. And the fan fiction contest is still going on, details to the right.
