Have you guys tried Articulate? It’s kind of like Pictionary, but instead of drawing a thing you have to describe it, all within a short time-frame.

How well you do has nothing to do with how articulate you are, and everything to do with you and your game partner’s shared cultural touchstones and readiness to communicate. As a result, it serves a pretty efficient trial by fire for fledgling romantic pairings. Not sure you’re ready to get married yet? Try playing a couple of rounds with your long-term partner and see if you’re still together by the end of the game.

Being of the same generation and/or level of education as your partner also helps, otherwise you may find yourself perfectly describing Clement Attlee to someone who’s never even heard of him.

My family plays it every Christmas because we often find we don’t have enough things to argue about at that time of year.
