There. It’s up. Now I’m sleeping. Sorry it’s late. Get used to that. Monday’s comic should be here by next Monday at the latest. It’s been a busy week. I’m doing my best.
Sorry, guys. No comic up today. I’ll update as soon as I can and catch up later in the week (or month). But if you have any questions you’d like to ask one of the cast members during their time off then just send an e-mail. And re-read the archives. There might be something you missed the first time around (like a continuity error). A big shout out to John Peel, too.
I’ve done it again — another deadline met, just two days after the last strip was finished. I just have until Friday to finish another strip. It’s those damn double strips that take the extra time (twice as long, would you believe?) so just count up how many of those we’ve done so far because I really should have skipped a day after each one of those. They’re the strips that are pushing me up into the deadline. Count how many there have been so far because for each one I’m owed a day off in lieu of overtime. I’m holding you to that.
And, on the basis that he’s the only one who reads these posts, I would like to say a big hello to my good friend Jason and let him know that I’ll call when I find myself less busy but I suspect he’s probably even busier.
And so it was that the buffer ran out faster than the world froze in The Day After Tomorrow. Just because I’ll be updating slowly, it doesn’t mean we can’t do some more ‘ask the cast’ bits and the like. We have a real archive now, as well.
The strip I’m working on now, Monday’s, has taken me the past two weeks to make and it’s still not finished. I refuse to interrupt the storyline with filler strips. The schedule will definitely slow down for the next couple of weeks but I promise I’m going to catch up as soon as I can. Try to understand that I only had one day off from work last week due to sickness and that this week I’m working the late shift, 12:00-9:00pm. I leave the house at 11:00 am and I don’t get back until 10:00. I’ve got two and a half days off at the end of the week. Let’s see what I can get finished during that time. You guys have been great so far. Stick with me, take the crunchy with the smooth.
